Fantabulous Friday Finds- June 27 – Daughter’s Dorm- Part 1!

We just celebrated our daughter’s high school graduation, and we’re beyond excited for her next chapter…University life! While I’m still wrapping my head around the idea of becoming an empty nester, I’m pouring my energy into making her dorm room as cozy and welcoming as possible. It helps ease the transition (for both of us!).

Here are a few thoughtful pieces I’ve already picked up. It’s never too early to start planning, and trust me, you’ll want the extra time. Stay tuned for Part 2!

Starting with a Comfy bed!  We need to layer the mattress with a memory foam, then a super soft pillow top before we even think about the sheet set.

Pillow Top for Mattress

Memory Foam, 2 or 3 inches thick to lay on top of mattress and under the pillow top.  Check for sizing, we are using Twin XL.

They’ll need a nightstand and this one with some extra storage space and a charging station will work great!

Night Stand

A 6 foot long cord with a flat plug and tons of charging options for all the iPhones, laptops, computers, etc.

Surge Protector

Shower Caddy that can hold all the lotions and potions and keep everything organized 🙂

Shower Caddy

A Vacuum Cleaner that is compact but still strong enough to do the job!  This one works on carpet and I went for the 2 year warranty as well!  Do you think they’ll use it!!??
