Fantabulous Friday Finds- June 21 – Costa Rica

Today is travel day back to Toronto from Guanacaste, Costa Rica!  Had a great time checking out as many beaches as we could, sight seeing and even looked at a few villas. So Beautiful!

A Few things that we will be missing and I will be ordering so we can keep some of the Pura Vida Vibe going back at home are…

This “Pura Vida” rustic sign will be a great addition to our arcade.  We add posters and signs when we come across some that are fun and have meaning. Pura Vida means PURE LIFE.

Pura Vida

We had one of these Chorreador’s in our villa and I had no idea how to use it until I watched a video on youtube.  Simple and portable, great little item to have at home, makes an amazing cup of coffee!

Costa Rica is known for their tasty coffee thanks to their climate and volcanic ash. This is a great brand that you can get online. We found an amazing coffee house, Big Fingers Coffee Roaster, but we can’t bring Marco back with us.

Costa Rican Coffee

This Lizano Salsa is a staple in every house here.  Originated in 1920 and will add spice to everything!

You can purchase these bowls pretty much everywhere here in the shops and on the beach. I don’t have the space in luggage to bring some back so I’ll be ordering some for home.

Coconut Bowls

Now these aren’t very Costa Rican in design but at the coffee shop every morning, Emma’s coffees were served in these mugs so now we’ll continue that little routine at home 🙂
