Fantabulous Friday Finds- May 9 – Design Books Edition!

It’s shaping up to be a sunny weekend, and inbetween some family time and a few social plans, I’m carving out some time for one of my favourite things to do: a fresh pot of coffee and a deep dive into some beautiful design books.

Some of these treasures already live on my shelves, while others are still on my wishlist. With Mother’s Day around the corner… who knows, maybe I’ll be unwrapping the final two!

There’s something so captivating about Joseph Dirand’s work — every space is quiet, refined, and beautifully French, with just the right amount of detail to make you stop and stare.

Melanie Turner

This book lives on my cocktail table for a reason — Melanie Turner’s serene, sculptural spaces are endlessly inspiring. Her calm, layered approach to timeless design is one I return to again and again for a dose of understated glamour.

Studio DB

This one’s on my wishlist — and after hearing Britt and Damian on a podcast today, I’m even more intrigued. Studio DB’s bold mix of polished and playful, with unexpected textures and sculptural forms, makes their work feel both daring and livable.
