Fantabulous Friday Finds- August 30 – What’s for Dinner!
Just like all my lovely clients and friends, we’re all in back-to-school mode! Schedules are back in full swing, and new habits are just waiting to be made. In our household, one thing that never changes is our nightly family dinners – it’s such a great tradition and I absolutely love it!!
But here’s the twist – every single night, my crew wants the same thing: Chicken and Salad. Salad and Chicken. Repeat 🙂
So, to keep the excitement going in the kitchen ( and maybe spice up that salad-chicken combo), I’ve got a few trusty tools that make this nightly ritual a breeze. If you’re on a mission to make the ultimate chicken and salad dinner, these are the must-haves you need in your kitchen arsenal!
This Salad Spinner is great! Easy to use, easy to clean. I use it everyday!
Once all the Romaine lettuce, ( our fav) is all clean and spun dry, simply put it in this keeper inside the fridge and it’s always ready to go! I wash mine by hand instead of the dishwasher.
I love eating salad out of a large bowl rather than a plate. Just easier and these are also great for pasta!
Making your own dressing is a breeze and this is a great tool to squeeze in some acidity from your lemon but not the seeds. Also add in some dijon mustard, s&p, fresh herbs a little vinegar and then olive oil!! So easy!
Make sure your chicken is cooked please! Get it to 165! We use ours every night, takes the guess work out.
I love olive oil and I do use it in my dressing, I also like to mist a little on top, just a bit!

Have an amazing Long Weekend and Good Luck next week!!
I know “they” say to cook the chicken to 165, but it is still safe at 155, then let settle. Keeps the chicken moist.
You haven’t made us sick yet, so I guess you are right!!
